The Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association sponsored the Second International CMT Consortium, which took place July 18-20, 2007, at the Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort in Utah, and which was an official satellite of the Biannual Meeting of the Peripheral Nerve Society, which also took place at Snowbird from July 14-18, 2007.
More than 100 researchers attended, and following the format of previous meetings of the European and North American Consortia, the emphasis was on exchanging information and encouraging collaboration among European, North American, and other investigators around the world. In addition to oral presentations and discussion, there were also over 40 poster presentations.
