How to Contribute
The CMTA is strongly committed to funding research and finding a cure,
and we’re equally committed to providing such client services as
our newsletter, our 800 question-and-answer line, our website, and our
patient-family conferences on CMT.
You can help the cause in a variety of ways:
Join the CMTA: When you become a member, you receive The CMTA Report, discounts on publications and other benefits, plus you help fund many of our client services and our efforts to create awareness about CMT. We need your help to continue providing vital information to physicians and patients, so please click here to join now.
Make a donation to the CMTA: You can donate money or stock and choose how your gift will be used. Gifts to client services make the day-to-day function of the CMTA possible and enable us to provide such services as our newsletter, our toll-free question-and-answer line, our website, and our patient-family conferences on CMT. Gifts to research, on the other hand, are restricted in use and are only available to fund research grants, fellowships and the North American Database on CMT.
Monetary donations: You can click here to use our secure online form and make your donation via credit card, or you can mail your check or money order (no cash, please) to:

Testamentary bequests of cash, stock, or other liquid assets:
Your bequest will be fully deductible for estate tax purposes and will brighten the future for CMT research. For further information, contact us at 1-800-606-2682.
Start a CMTA "Circle of Friends:" People often ask what they can do to help raise funds, but don't want to hold a golf tournament or organize an event. The CMTA "Circle of Friends" is the perfect solution because people can help the CMTA fund research without holding a fundraising event.
Each of us has a "circle" of family, friends, people we do business with, places we shop and so on, and by reaching out to your circle with a personal letter or email, you can greatly enlarge the number of people who support the work of the CMTA.
We'll help you write your letter, create a web page specifically for your Circle of Friends, and provide you with all the brochures, newsletters and other documents necessary to start your circle. Click here to learn how easy it is to get started.
Shop online at iGive.com: Register the CMTA as your cause and every time you shop online at an igive-affiliated store, the CMTA will automatically receive a percentage of your purchases. Click
here for instructions.
Tell us your fundraising idea: If you have a fund raising idea, or if you know of a source of funding for which the CMTA might qualify, click here and tell us about it.
